In 2023, David Gutiérrez participated in the Alentejo World Heritage Festival, an event that celebrates the fusion between flamenco music and fado. Alongside prominent artists such as Sara Correia and Luís Trigacheiro, David explored this cultural connection, creating a space where flamenco and the melancholy of fado coexisted in perfect harmony.

David Gutiérrez was part of an exciting cultural initiative in Cape Verde, in collaboration with the Sete Sois Sete Luas festival. This project allowed him to explore various islands of the archipelago, such as Sal and Fogo, merging flamenco with local morna music. In addition to creating evocative music, David has provided new opportunities for Cape Verdean artists, guiding them towards new possibilities in their artistic careers.

David had the privilege of collaborating with Duquende, one of the most prominent figures in  flamenco. During his participation in the Alentejo World Heritage Festival, both artists celebrated the purity and depth of flamenco, where the notes of their performances resonated with the rich tradition they represent.

In 2024, David Gutiérrez stood out in the choreographic composition of the opera "Carmen". As a dancer, he presented this work in iconic venues such as the Saarema Opera and Tartur in Estonia, bringing the essence of flamenco to new audiences and merging his rich culture with the magnitude of opera.

David also was part of the artistic team for the Ukrainian synchronised swimming team, under the direction of Ana Tarrés, during the Rio Olympics. His mission was to artistically advise each athlete, enhancing their expression and creativity. This collaboration culminated in a gold medal, demonstrating the power of art in sports.

The "Caravan of Dancers" project, held at the Manuel Artime Theatre in Miami, was a magical fusion of dances from around the world. Alongside prominent international artists, David combined Arabic dance with flamenco, creating a vibrant show that celebrated cultural diversity and the rich traditions of each dance.

David Gutiérrez has also had the honour of serving as an international juror three times (2019, 2022, and 2024) at the Happy Planet Festival, an event that brings together folklore groups from around the world. As a representative of Spain, he contributed to the promotion of our traditions and culture on a global stage, showcasing his commitment to art and cultural diversity.

In 2015, David served as choreographer and dancer for the Innovation Dance Company in Gibraltar. During this time, he had the opportunity to create and integrate fresh and contemporary movements into their performances, attracting public attention and revitalising the art of dance in the region.

David has worked closely with world champion artistic skaters, as well as established clubs in Catalonia, such as the Mollet del Vallés Skating Club and the Rubí Artistic Skating Club. His work has focused on enhancing artistic expression and elevating the skills of these athletes, merging the art of dance with the elegance of skating.

In 2024, David Gutiérrez had the opportunity to direct and choreograph the show "Tempo Flamenco" in collaboration with the Flamenco Orchestra of Seville. This performance at the Setmenat Theatre in Catalonia was a celebration of the rich flamenco tradition, where each beat and movement told a story deeply rooted in our culture.
